We've received reissues of two Casablanca/Oasis Donna releases, Love to Love You Baby, very nice, and Greatest Hits Volume I & II, also very nice in pink and purple vinyl. Both were very true to the originals with the latter boasting an added gatefold not found with the original.
Now we have Bad Girls. Overall, this is a nicer release than the first but still has it's pros and cons.

    1. Cover art is WAY too dark and glossy, 2019's release was better in this area
    2. The inner gatefold is pretty close to original.
    3. The red and blue vinyl colors are a nice touch but sound quality isn't as great. But is okay.
    4. Disc 1 s/b Side 1&4, Disc 2 s/b 2&3 like the original that accommodated spindle type record players.
    5. Of the two releases, this one is the better of the two, with the exception of cover photo exposure.

The first reissue was okay but has flaws as well. Lets hope we will see the other 5 or so [depending on if you count Live and soundtracks] Casablanca LP's reissued as well.

Crappy cover photo! Way too dark! Looks like a bad photocopy.

This is an awesome sounding re release !!! It’s very clean and the dynamics are great !!!! Buy it if you don’t have an original on hand in great condition :)

The sound is incredible and the translucent red and blue discs are a beauty, the original Casablanca labels on the color vinyls, amazing.

So glad I picked this RSD 2021 limited release for my disco collection. Excellent pressing. Audio fidelity is excellent, on par with audiophile grade pressing. Great soundstage. I guess I lucked out with my copy since I noticed others have commented with bad pressing. I do agree with the cover being printed to dark on Ms Summer. I not too keen on the color vinyl, but the sound is amazing so I am good with that.

Bad release, this RSD 2021. This album is a D. Summer Disco-classic, but I am disappointed, this is with a crappy coverart front-photo (too dark colour), but worse, the sound quality is bad, damn I wonder what went wrong here? My copy from 1979 is much, much better, the original sound is clear, buy the original 2LP - in case you can find a NM copy (of course). I would advise you/ others to get the original 1979-vinyl - and not this one. Only reason for me to keep it is the Blue/ red coloured LPs. My mint copy of this new - I won't be listening to it at all, trust me the sound is not good. Something went wrong in the making, I wonder what?!

I love this pressing. The album cover is nice and glossy, but like other people have said, it’s a bit too dark. The colored pressings are really nice, and the sound quality is pretty great to me.

Package of this release is great. Nice glossy cover (although a bit too dark) and beautiful colored vinyl set. Sound is good, but not great. I did some comparing with my original copy and have to say the original is better. Sound is a bit more clear, more dynamics and more spacious like another reviewer already said. Also, the new, RSD release has some minimal sibilance. Listen to Bad Girls for example, when Donna sings 'Sad Girls....'. Nothing like this on the original. RSD release is nice to have, but I think I'll keep the original also.

...unfortunately disappointed in this release. For starters the album art is dark and muddy... not even close to the original. The sound as well pales in comparison to my original 1979 vinyl...which sounds rich and spacious. This is cramped and a bit tinny. And oddly the discs are not pressed as they were originally. One disc SHOULD be Side 1 and Side 4...while the other is Side 2 and 3. It was done this way to allow the listener to stack their albums on their turntables for a more continuous experience. It was the 70s!!

Does anyone know who cut the lacquers for this? Obviously not AAA by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound, as was the case for the VMP release limited to 1,000 pressings. It does appear from the matrix that GZ pressed this.
